What Happened at WWDC21, let’s go deep.
Hi everyone, It’s Emre. As you know, Today Apple announce new things related to iPhone, MacBook, Apple Watch, FaceTime, iOS15, HomeKit, AppleWallet and others. I will share 2 different topics about session.

This story about new things without technic like as Xcode Cloud, Swift Concurency, Universal Control.
Firstly, I’m really excited about this session. Because I’m willing to learn new tech as an iOS engineer. I know, future is building on mobile devices such as phones, smart watch, portable smart things(air tag) and other. And I know, We are in a heart of it.
Face Time: To tell the truth, this was what surprised me the most. FaceTime will challenge with Zoom, Teams or Skype. With iOS15, FaceTime will available on browser not only Apple user but also Android user. Also you can invite somebody via link, or schedule your appointment with Facetime . Non-apple users can accept/join this meetup via browser. Also you can set calendar with FaceTime link. In a world where video chat is on the rise, this could be an incredible/smartest solution.
Privacy: Apple keeps changing the rules. Maybe 1 year ago, Apple started privacy war against to Zuckerberg with iOS 14.5 app tracking transparency. Because some app such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok collected user sensitive data without permission. And Apple with iOS 14.5 force to ask permission pop-up if you collect data from phone. In response to this Facebook remove blue tick from Apple account in Facebook Social Media.
And today, Apple announce new privacy restrict. You can prevent e-mail spamming to access your ip. Also, according to Apple, safari browser is more secure and more privacy defender.
Apple Wallet: Wallet definition will change in the future. Apple started this changing already. Apple says “Wallet is not only hold your card or many, It should hold your smart home key, and also It can be check-in your hotel or flight.”. I like this idea.
Apple Map: Apple always gives great importance to user opinions. I don’t like Apple Maps before. Generally I choosed Yandex Map or Google Map When I was in car. Google maps always say to street name when in your traveling. Actually while driving a car, i don’t want to think about street name. And now, Apple changing map looks more realistic with 3D building and route. For example, when approaching the bridge or tunell, apple maps zoom app and look more clear your direction. That awesome. This future will be ready in Car Play one year later. But this future not available all country. For a now, It’s usable in US, UK and some of Europe countries.
Apple Watch: I was thinking of buying a watch these days. And It will be Apple Watch. Because, Apple watch not only ordinary watch,It’s also your health care assistance. It can fallow your health, count your blooding count and cardio result. It’s also send notification/sms/call your body when there is an emergency. Absolutely, this is life save for older people.
Apple Note: You can tag your note or linking to someone your note. It can note easily and powerfully. Awesome.
Notification: Apple will arrange notification with notification summary after the iOS15. Actually some app notification bothering/annoying me sometimes. I like this news.
